Silverquicken Afterschool Instructor

The Silverquicken Afterschool Instructor joins a small, innovative company to teach in-person after-school enrichment classes or “clubs” to middle grade students (in grades 3-8; ages 9-13). Clubs meet once/week for approximately an hour after the school day, in a school classroom that the Instructor helps transform into a magical Silverquicken classroom.

Students tackle puzzles, games, and ciphers that teach them to think differently, work together, and solve tough challenges. Through our super-fun programming, kids are intrinsically motivated to attempt rigorous tasks and build the problem-solving and critical thinking skills they need to thrive in today’s world.

A successful Silverquicken Instructor is passionate about igniting curiosity, wonder, compassion, and empathy. They bolster perseverance, leadership, and teamwork. And they make the classes fun and exciting, bringing back into learning the joy that’s so often missing for many students.

Our instructors also apply these skills and characteristics to our growing team, where they collaborate with other instructors, content developers, and puzzle writers to make the Silverquicken experience the best it can be!
